ColorPhi Patent Use Rights Agreement

Digital Vision Enhancement Inc. (DVE Inc.), creators of ColorPhi™, holds two patents (covering the use of personalized visual algorithms and the entire electromagnetic spectrum (EMS) for visualizing light, matter, and data, with more patents pending. We are committed to fostering innovation and accessibility, particularly for colorblind individuals and those with Color Vision Deficiency (CVD).

 

To encourage research and development, we grant an open community license for non-commercial use in the visible light spectrum. This license allows anyone to develop solutions for colorblindness or CVD without incurring licensing fees. However, licensing agreements must be obtained for any commercial or multi-spectral use of ColorPhi or DVE technology or products.

The ColorPhi Player is currently provided as a free tool for the 350 million colorblind people around the world, underscoring our commitment to accessibility and inclusivity. We have plans to release new free tools leveraging the latest AR, VR, and XR solutions.
